Important Information for HSA Participants
Limited HRA
If you had a balance in your HRA (health reimbursement arrangement) and are now enrolled in the HSA (health savings account) medical option, that balance is in a Limited HRA.
You can use your Limited HRA for dental and vision expenses only, per IRS rules.
To be reimbursed for eligible dental or vision expenses, you'll need to submit a paper claim. You can't use Your Spending Account™ card to access these funds.
Limited FSA
If you enrolled in the HSA medical option, you can participate only in a Limited Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) which can be used only for dental and vision expenses, per IRS rules. You may use the money in your Health Savings Account for other eligible health care expenses, like prescription drug or physician office visit coinsurance amounts.
You must use the money in your Limited FSA by the end of the year - these funds do not roll over from year to year!
To be reimbursed for eligible dental or vision expenses, you'll need to submit a paper claim. You'll no longer have use of the Your Spending Account™ card to access these funds.
