ACTION (Alcoans Coming Together In Our Neighborhoods) encourages
teams of at least five Alcoa employees to spend a minimum of four hours on a
community service project for a local nonprofit or non-government
organization.
There are two levels of ACTION project
participation:
five to nine employees on a team, 20 hours of volunteer service
minimum total for the team = $1,500 grant to the
organization
10 or more employees on a team, 40 hours of volunteer service
minimum total for the team = $3,000 grant to the organization
