It's flu season
Both the H1N1 flu shots and regular flu shots are covered 100% under your Alcoa preventive benefits if you receive them from a network provider. Here’s what else you can do to avoid the flu.

Effective November 1, 2009, you have two options to take advantage of mail service discounts. You can:
- Continue to can use the mail-order service OR
- Pick up a 90-day supply of maintenance medication at a CVS retail pharmacy and
get the same savings.
This means that you can now get a free 90-day supply of generic medication at your local
pharmacy (instead of having to use the mail service).
Under this new program, called Maintenance Choice, you select if your long-term
medications will be mailed to you or available for pick up at your local CVS.
Here are the advantages of each option:
Mail service:
- Enjoy convenient home delivery.
- Receive medication in confidential, tamper-resistant and (when necessary) temperature-controlled packaging.
- Talk to a pharmacist by phone.
CVS Pharmacy:
- Pick up your long-term medication directly from the pharmacy at a time that is convenient for you.
- Enjoy same-day prescription availability.
- Talk face-to-face with a pharmacist.
