The Alcoa Medicare Supplement Plan supplements certain Medicare Part A (hospital) benefits and certain limited Medicare Part B (physician and other services) benefits.
- This plan will pay the inpatient hospital deductible and daily hospital copays that are required under Medicare Part A.
- It also covers a portion of the services not covered by Medicare Part B, and provides limited coverage for outpatient mental health and substance abuse care.
It pays benefits as if you are enrolled in both Medicare Part A and Part B.
If you currently have a Select Med plan, it will be replaced by the Alcoa Medicare Supplement Plan.
