As an Alcoa employee, you have access to a wealth of tools and information resources to help you manage your health and stay well.

CVS Caremark, Alcoa’s prescription drug claims administrator, offers free calculators, quizzes, health diaries, a nutrition toolbox, and other interactive tools online. Here’s a sampling of what you can find.
Alcoa’s Employee Assistance Program also offers great online information. This is the place to start when you have concerns about work and life balance, including finances, legal services, child care, senior care, pet care, and more.

Reach Your Goals with a Health Coach

What if you could get confidential, professional health and wellness coaching by phone with the same expert who gets to know you, makes a plan, and monitors your progress over time all at no cost? Now you can.

Your Highmark Blues On Call coach can talk to you about weight, nutrition, exercise, stress, or how to improve your health in general. One professional - a dietitian, exercise physiologist, or nurse - will be your coach until you achieve your goals.

Also as part of your Alcoa medical benefit, you may get a phone call from a Highmark Blues On Call Health Coach offering free, confidential help if you have:

a chronic condition, such as diabetes, heart disease, or asthma
an acute illness or injury
a new diagnosis
not filled your prescriptions consistently
completed a Health Questionnaire and requested more information

Of course, it’s your call whether or not you want to work with a Health Coach. And, Alcoa doesn't receive information from Highmark about employees who are being coached.
